Sharjah : The Kingdom of Bahrain increased its medal count at the eighth edition of the Arab Women’s Clubs Games in Sharjah to three golds, one silver and two bronzes after Al Riffa Shooting Club won gold in both the team and individual 10m air rifle events.
The Al Riffa team of Safa Mohammed Al Dossary, Nouf Khalil Al Dosari and Marwa Hamad Al Ameri secured the team title with strong consistency and accuracy. Safa Al Dossary also won the individual gold, retaining her Arab title, while teammate Fawzia Mohammed Mousa finished seventh.
The team had earlier won gold in the 10m air pistol team event and bronze in the individual event, and the team also claimed the overall title after earning the highest points across the competition. The delegation is expected to return to Bahrain tomorrow.
