Manama : His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court and Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC), attended the 18th race of the 2025/2026 season, which was held today at the club’s racecourse in Al Raffah, Sakhir.
The race was held for the Bahrain Jewellery Centre Cup, the Porsche Cups, the Fatees Al Hajeri Cup, and the Jockey Club Cup, and was attended by a number of Their Highnesses and Excellencies, as well as representatives of the sponsoring entities. The event was marked by a highly competitive atmosphere, alongside a range of accompanying entertainment activities and events.
The winners of the race cups were crowned during the event. Ali bin Mohammed Al Hajeri presented the Fatees Al Hajeri Cup to the winning trainer, Yousif Taher. Ahmed Shirazi, Managing Director of Bahrain Jewellery Centre, presented the fourth round trophy to Faisal Mefareh Al Ajmi and the sixth round trophy to the winning owner, Abdullah Fawzi Nass.
Sophie Able, General Manager of the Jockey Club, presented the seventh round trophy to the winning owner, Hadi Al Afoo. Timothy Price, General Manager of Porsche – Bahrain, presented the eighth round trophy to Hasan Mefareh Al Ajmi.
The racing evening was marked by strong competition across all races.
