Manama : The third edition of the annual Legacy Family Business Forum will be held on April 8, 2026, at Downtown Rotana Hotel in Manama, following the success of its previous editions.
Launched in the Kingdom of Bahrain in 2023, the forum highlights the sustainability of family businesses amid regional and global challenges and rapid technological change. Previous editions brought together Gulf family business leaders, public and private sector decision makers, and specialists in economic, legal, and academic fields.
The 2026 forum will feature local and regional speakers from the next generation of family business leaders. Sessions will address innovation and sustainability, leadership succession, integration of young leadership into management structures, women’s empowerment in family governance, and family entrepreneurship as a path for business diversification.
The forum will also review legal frameworks, global best practices, and strategic planning models for restructuring medium sized family businesses to support long term growth and continuity.
The event is organised by Expressions Media, with support from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the National Centre for Family Businesses in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, alongside several organisations concerned with multi generational family enterprises.
Organisers invited business communities in Bahrain and neighbouring countries to participate in the forum and contribute to discussions supporting the sustainability of Gulf family businesses.
