Manama: Sara Ahmed Buhiji, Chief Executive of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), expressed appreciation for the royal remarks on the second edition of the “Hawa Al Manama” event, noting that they support continued efforts to develop national events that reflect Bahrain’s authentic identity.
Buhiji said the royal remarks provide motivation to further enhance initiatives that highlight Bahrain’s cultural and historical depth and present its diverse heritage. She noted that the strong turnout recorded by the event, including citizens, residents, and visitors, aligns with the vision of His Majesty the King and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as well as the Team Bahrain approach based on coordination among government entities and partnership with the private sector.
She explained that this integrated approach contributed to delivering a programme that brought together heritage, culture, arts, and entertainment, supporting Manama’s position as a cultural and tourism centre and contributing to the development of the tourism sector as part of the national economy.
Buhiji expressed appreciation to all entities that supported and contributed to the success of the event, emphasising the authority’s commitment to continuing work on initiatives that strengthen national identity, preserve cultural heritage, and support Bahrain’s standing as a tourism and cultural destination.
