Singapore : His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan met with Singapore’s Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong to discuss cooperation between the two countries and means to strengthen it.
His Majesty highlighted Jordan’s interest in expanding its partnership with Singapore in areas including trade, investment, education, water management, public sector development, energy, and defence.
The talks also covered developments in the Middle East. His Majesty stressed the need to uphold the agreement to end the war in Gaza and to prevent further escalation in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
His Majesty also expressed appreciation for Singapore’s humanitarian support for Gaza and noted the importance of continued cooperation between the two countries in this regard.
