Manama : Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, inaugurated the new branch of Annada store at Marassi Galleria, coinciding with the brand’s celebration of its 14th anniversary.
The Tourism Minister emphasised the importance of supporting national initiatives that highlight Bahraini identity and enhance its position within a comprehensive tourism experience. She noted that such initiatives open opportunities for Bahraini brands to expand into regional and international markets, particularly those offering cultural and heritage-inspired products that enrich the tourism experience while contributing to economic diversification and supporting the national tourism sector.
Minister Al Sairafi highlighted that the opening of the new Annada branch reflects the continuous support for innovative projects that combine local creativity with tourism appeal, in line with ongoing efforts to diversify tourism products and enhance the sector’s contribution to the national economy.

On her part, Nada Alawi, Annada’s founder and Creative Director, expressed appreciation for the official support extended to national brands, describing it as an incentive to continue expanding. She added that the new branch at Marassi Galleria provides an opportunity to present Bahrain’s experience in fashion and art in an innovative way, highlighting the growing presence of local brands as a tourist attraction.
She emphasised that Annada’s vision is to bring art closer to people’s daily lives, whether through fashion, gifts, or keepsakes, and to ensure that creativity remains an integral part of Bahraini culture.
The opening was attended by several officials, along with art, fashion, and lifestyle enthusiasts. The event featured an art exhibition which showcased original artworks alongside pieces inspired by them, including scarves, fashion items, and lifestyle products. The designs reflect the essence of creativity, extending the impact of the artwork beyond gallery walls into elements of daily elegance.

Since its establishment in 2011, Annada has collaborated with more than 25 prominent regional artists, including Shaikh Rashid Al Khalifa, Abbas Al Mousawi, Shaikha Marwa Al Khalifa, Raeda Ashoor, Mariam Fakhro, Abdul Elah Al Arab, and Omar Al Rashid.
Over the years, Annada has received several prestigious awards, including the Bahraini Female Entrepreneur Honour Seal, a nomination for the Bahrain Award for Entrepreneurship, and most recently, The Customer Loyalty Award 2025 from the Jadara Award.
