Mecca : Shaikh Adnan bin Abdulla Al Qattan, Head of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Hajj Mission, held a coordination meeting with the heads of the mission’s committees to assess their readiness and review ongoing preparations to serve Bahraini pilgrims.
He commended the high level of organisation and preparedness demonstrated by the committees upon arrival at the mission’s headquarters in the Al Naseem district of Mecca. He emphasised the importance of operating under a clear, coordinated plan to deliver the best possible services to Bahraini pilgrims.
Shaikh Al Qattan also conducted a field visit to all the mission’s committees. He underscored the efforts of the medical committee and its high level of preparedness to provide comprehensive healthcare to pilgrims, mission members, and Hajj campaign teams. He noted the full operation of medical clinics at the mission headquarters in Mecca and in the holy sites, ensuring a safe and healthy environment throughout the pilgrimage.
He also highlighted the vital role of the security committee in monitoring safety requirements within the mission premises and Hajj campaigns. This includes ensuring the safety of transportation vehicles and overseeing the issuance of vehicle permits in accordance with approved procedures, contributing to the overall safety and organisation of pilgrim movement.
The Bahrain Hajj Mission includes several specialised committees, such as the security, medical, evaluation and follow up, public relations and media, engineering planning, contractor and pilgrim relations, scouts, Red Crescent, and transportation committees. These committees work in coordination to provide high quality services that reflect Bahrain’s commitment to supporting pilgrims in performing their rites in a safe and organised environment.
