Manama : Indian MMA fighter Ehtesham Ansari is set to make his BRAVE CF debut at BRAVE CF 92 on December 15 in Bahrain, where he will face Pakistan’s Aqib Awan.
With a professional MMA record of six wins and one loss, Ehtesham has been on an impressive run over the past five years. Now, he finally gets the chance to showcase his skills on a global platform as he steps into the BRAVE Combat Federation cage.
Ehtesham began his MMA career in 2019, suffering a loss in his professional debut. However, he bounced back and secured four consecutive victories in the Indian regional circuit. His true potential, however, was showcased in 2023 when he took his talents to the Central Asian region—a hotbed for elite MMA talent known for producing multiple world champions, including in BRAVE CF.
Ehtesham first competed in Kazakhstan, where he faced an Uzbekistani opponent and delivered a dominant performance, winning via submission. In his next fight, also against an Uzbekistani opponent, he solidified his reputation with a decisive decision victory. These back-to-back wins in one of MMA’s toughest regions extended his winning streak to six fights—an achievement that few Indian MMA fighters can boast.
Now, riding this momentum, Ehtesham has the opportunity to elevate his career at BRAVE CF 92 in a high-stakes India vs. Pakistan matchup. A victory over Aqib Awan could not only bring pride to India but also put Ehtesham firmly on the global MMA map.
With BRAVE CF having one of the strongest Flyweight divisions in the world, a standout performance at BRAVE CF 92 could unlock many opportunities for Ehtesham as he aims to take his career to the next level.
