Seef Health Training Center opened in Amwaj Islands
Under the patronage of Labour and Social Development Minister, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Undersecretary Sabah Salim Al-Dossari, opened today the Seef Health Training Centre in Amwaj Islands. National Health Regulatory Authority’s CEO, Dr. Mariam Adhbi Al-Jalahma, CEO of the Labour Fund, Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Janahi, and the work team of the committee in charge of licensing and examining health training programs, officials and specialists were present.
The center’s opening is part of the on-going efforts to develop medical competencies who graduated from medical universities in Bahrain or abroad, by providing them with continuous training and rehabilitation programs. It also aims to prepare new medical graduates to join the labor market, as it will grant its trainees internationally-recognized certificates. Al-Dossari lauded the project, noting that it will contribute to improving the health sector in the kingdom, noting that it will provide distinguished specialized training courses.
The Seef Health Training Centre’s CEO, Dr. Sami El-Bassit, stated that the center aims to train Bahraini health competencies and to provide them with the necessary skills. He praised the existing cooperation with the Labour and Social Development Ministry for licensing the project, the NHRA, the sector’s regulators, and Tamkeen, the supporter of development projects.
